SND_SOC_DAPM_MUX() doesn't currently initialize the .mask field. This results in the mux never affecting HW, since no bits are ever set or cleared. Fix SND_SOC_DAPM_MUX() to use SND_SOC_DAPM_INIT_REG_VAL() to set up the reg, shift, on_val, and off_val fields like almost all other SND_SOC_xxx() macros. It looks like this was a "typo" in the fixed commit linked below. This makes the speakers on the Toshiba AC100 (PAZ00) laptop work again. As a set towards moving shmobile towards multi-platform the kernel command line should be set in the DTB rather than in the kernel config. bockw already has the command line present in its DTS file but it was being overrirden by the kernel config. A side effect of this change is that "rw" is now present on the command line which allows a boot using nfs root to succeed in the case where userspace expects to be able to write to the root filesystem. If a too small burst is inadvertently set on TBF, we might trigger a bug in tbf_segment(), as 'skb' instead of 'segs' was used in a qdisc_reshape_fail() call. tc qdisc add dev eth0 root handle 1: tbf latency 50ms burst 1KB rate 50mbit Fix the bug, and add a warning, as such configuration is not going to work anyway for non GSO packets. (For some reason, one has to use a burst >= 1520 to get a working configuration, even with old kernels. The recv_error and rxpmtu functions relied on the recvmsg functions to set up addr_len before. As this does not happen any more we have to pass addr_len to those functions as well and set it to the size of the corresponding sockaddr length. This broke traceroute and such. This patch simplifies the checksum verification in tcpX_gro_receive by reusing the CHECKSUM_COMPLETE code for CHECKSUM_NONE. 2013-11-23gro: Only verify TCP checksums for candidatesHerbert Xu
In some cases we may receive IP packets that are longer than their stated lengths. Such packets are never merged in GRO. However, we may end up computing their checksums incorrectly and end up allowing packets with a bogus checksum enter our stack with the checksum status set as verified. Since such packets are rare and not performance-critical, this patch simply skips the checksum verification for them. Function sctp_check_transmitted(transport t, ...) would iterate all of transport->transmitted queue and looking for the highest __newly__ acked tsn. The original algorithm would depend on the order of the assoc->transport_list (in function sctp_outq_sack line 1215 - 1226). The result might not be the expected due to the order of the tranport_list. The warning is false positive as of->mutex is per open-file and the two paths belong to two different files. This warning didn't trigger before regular and bin file supports were merged because only bin file supported mmap and the other side of locking happened only on regular files which used equivalent but separate locking. It'd be best if we give separate locking classes per file but we can't easily do that. Let's differentiate on ->mmap() for now. 2013-11-23sysfs: handle duplicate removal attempts in sysfs_remove_group()Mika Westerberg
Commit bcdde7e221a8 (sysfs: make __sysfs_remove_dir() recursive) changed the behavior so that directory removals will be done recursively. This means that the sysfs group might already be removed if its parent directory has been removed. Various Marvell datasheets advertise second PCIe unit of mv78230 flavour of Armada XP as x4/quad x1 capable. This second unit is in fact only x1 capable. This patch fixes current mv78230 .dtsi to reflect that, i.e. makes 1.0 the second interface (instead of 2.0 at the moment). This was successfully tested on a mv78230-based ReadyNAS 2120 platform with a x1 device (FL1009 XHCI controller) connected to this second interface. 2013-11-22workqueue: fix pool ID allocation leakage and remove BUILD_BUG_ON() in ↵Li Bin
init_workqueues When one work starts execution, the high bits of work's data contain pool ID. It can represent a maximum of WORK_OFFQ_POOL_NONE. Pool ID is assigned WORK_OFFQ_POOL_NONE when the work being initialized indicating that no pool is associated and get_work_pool() uses it to check the associated pool. So if worker_pool_assign_id() assigns a ID greater than or equal WORK_OFFQ_POOL_NONE to a pool, it triggers leakage, and it may break the non-reentrance guarantee. This patch fix this issue by modifying the worker_pool_assign_id() function calling idr_alloc() by setting @end param WORK_OFFQ_POOL_NONE. Furthermore, in the current implementation, the BUILD_BUG_ON() in init_workqueues makes no sense. The number of worker pools needed cannot be determined at compile time, because the number of backing pools for UNBOUND workqueues is dynamic based on the assigned custom attributes.
