Add support for Extended Linear Cache for CXL. Add enumeration support
of the cache. Add MCE notification of the aliased memory address.

When PCIe AER is in FW-First, OS should process CXL Protocol errors from
CPER records. Introduce support for handling and logging CXL Protocol
errors.
The defined trace events cxl_aer_uncorrectable_error and
cxl_aer_correctable_error trace native CXL AER endpoint errors. Reuse them
to trace FW-First Protocol errors.
Since the CXL code is required to be called from process context and
GHES is in interrupt context, use workqueues for processing.
Similar to CXL CPER event handling, use kfifo to handle errors as it
simplifies queue processing by providing lock free fifo operations.
Add the ability for the CXL sub-system to register a workqueue to
process CXL CPER protocol errors.

On some systems when the system is put to sleep pressing the ACPI power
button will cause the EC SCI to try to wake the system by a Notify(DEV, 0x2)
with an intention to wake the system up from suspend.
This behavior matches the ACPI specification in ACPI 6.4 section
4.8.3.1.1.2 which describes that the AML handler would generate a Notify()
with a code of 0x2 to indicate it was responsible for waking the system.
This currently doesn't work because acpi_button_add() only configured
`ACPI_DEVICE_NOTIFY` which means that device handler notifications
0x80 through 0xFF are handled.
To fix the wakeups on such systems, adjust the ACPI button handler to
use `ACPI_ALL_NOTIFY` which will handle all events 0x00 through 0x7F.

In hindsight, there were some crucial subtleties overlooked when moving
{of,acpi}_dma_configure() to driver probe time to allow waiting for
IOMMU drivers with -EPROBE_DEFER, and these have become an
ever-increasing source of problems. The IOMMU API has some fundamental
assumptions that iommu_probe_device() is called for every device added
to the system, in the order in which they are added. Calling it in a
random order or not at all dependent on driver binding leads to
malformed groups, a potential lack of isolation for devices with no
driver, and all manner of unexpected concurrency and race conditions.
We've attempted to mitigate the latter with point-fix bodges like
iommu_probe_device_lock, but it's a losing battle and the time has come
to bite the bullet and address the true source of the problem instead.
The crux of the matter is that the firmware parsing actually serves two
distinct purposes; one is identifying the IOMMU instance associated with
a device so we can check its availability, the second is actually
telling that instance about the relevant firmware-provided data for the
device. However the latter also depends on the former, and at the time
there was no good place to defer and retry that separately from the
availability check we also wanted for client driver probe.
Nowadays, though, we have a proper notion of multiple IOMMU instances in
the core API itself, and each one gets a chance to probe its own devices
upon registration, so we can finally make that work as intended for
DT/IORT/VIOT platforms too. All we need is for iommu_probe_device() to
be able to run the iommu_fwspec machinery currently buried deep in the
wrong end of {of,acpi}_dma_configure(). Luckily it turns out to be
surprisingly straightforward to bootstrap this transformation by pretty
much just calling the same path twice. At client driver probe time,
dev->driver is obviously set; conversely at device_add(), or a
subsequent bus_iommu_probe(), any device waiting for an IOMMU really
should *not* have a driver already, so we can use that as a condition to
disambiguate the two cases, and avoid recursing back into the IOMMU core
at the wrong times.
Obviously this isn't the nicest thing, but for now it gives us a
functional baseline to then unpick the layers in between without many
more awkward cross-subsystem patches. There are some minor side-effects
like dma_range_map potentially being created earlier, and some debug
prints being repeated, but these aren't significantly detrimental. Let's
make things work first, then deal with making them nice.
With the basic flow finally in the right order again, the next step is
probably turning the bus->dma_configure paths inside-out, since all we
really need from bus code is its notion of which device and input ID(s)
to parse the common firmware properties with...

When two drivers don't support all the same profiles the legacy interface
only exports the common profiles.
This causes problems for cases where one driver uses low-power but another
uses quiet because the result is that neither is exported to sysfs.
To allow two drivers to disagree, add support for "hidden choices".
Hidden choices are platform profiles that a driver supports to be
compatible with the platform profile of another driver.

Syzkaller has reported a warning in to_nfit_bus_uuid(): "only secondary
bus families can be translated". This warning is emited if the argument
is equal to NVDIMM_BUS_FAMILY_NFIT == 0. Function acpi_nfit_ctl() first
verifies that a user-provided value call_pkg->nd_family of type u64 is
not equal to 0. Then the value is converted to int, and only after that
is compared to NVDIMM_BUS_FAMILY_MAX. This can lead to passing an invalid
argument to acpi_nfit_ctl(), if call_pkg->nd_family is non-zero, while
the lower 32 bits are zero.
Furthermore, it is best to return EINVAL immediately upon seeing the
invalid user input. The WARNING is insufficient to prevent further
undefined behavior based on other invalid user input.
All checks of the input value should be applied to the original variable
call_pkg->nd_family.

The current cxl region size only indicates the size of the CXL memory
region without accounting for the extended linear cache size. Retrieve the
cache size from HMAT and append that to the cxl region size for the cxl
region range that matches the SRAT range that has extended linear cache
enabled.
The SRAT defines the whole memory range that includes the extended linear
cache and the CXL memory region. The new HMAT ECN/ECR to the Memory Side
Cache Information Structure defines the size of the extended linear cache
size and matches to the SRAT Memory Affinity Structure by the memory
proxmity domain. Add a helper to match the cxl range to the SRAT memory
range in order to retrieve the cache size.
There are several places that checks the cxl region range against the
decoder range. Use new helper to check between the two ranges and address
the new cache size.

Add support for ACPI fans with _FST to report their speed even if they do
not support fan control.
As suggested by Armin Wolf [1] and per the Windows Thermal Management
Design Guide [2], Samsung Galaxy Book series devices (and possibly many
more devices where the Windows guide was strictly followed) only implement
the _FST method and do not support ACPI-based fan control.
Currently, these fans are not supported by the kernel driver but this patch
will make some very small adjustments to allow them to be supported.
This patch is tested and working for me on a Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro whose
DSDT (and several other Samsung Galaxy Book series notebooks which
currently have the same issue) can be found at [3].

A recent discussion has revealed that using DPM_FLAG_SMART_SUSPEND
unconditionally is generally problematic because it may lead to
situations in which the device's runtime PM information is internally
inconsistent or does not reflect its real state [1].
For this reason, change the handling of DPM_FLAG_SMART_SUSPEND so that
it is only taken into account if it is consistently set by the drivers
of all devices having any PM callbacks throughout dependency graphs in
accordance with the following rules:
- The "smart suspend" feature is only enabled for devices whose drivers
ask for it (that is, set DPM_FLAG_SMART_SUSPEND) and for devices
without PM callbacks unless they have never had runtime PM enabled.
- The "smart suspend" feature is not enabled for a device if it has not
been enabled for the device's parent unless the parent does not take
children into account or it has never had runtime PM enabled.
- The "smart suspend" feature is not enabled for a device if it has not
been enabled for one of the device's suppliers taking runtime PM into
account unless that supplier has never had runtime PM enabled.
Namely, introduce a new device PM flag called smart_suspend that is only
set if the above conditions are met and update all DPM_FLAG_SMART_SUSPEND
users to check power.smart_suspend instead of directly checking the
latter.
At the same time, drop the power.set_active flage introduced recently
in commit 3775fc538f53 ("PM: sleep: core: Synchronize runtime PM status
of parents and children") because it is now sufficient to check
power.smart_suspend along with the dev_pm_skip_resume() return value
to decide whether or not pm_runtime_set_active() needs to be called
for the device.

When the HED driver is built-in, it initializes after evged because they
both are at the same initcall level, so the initialization ordering
depends on the Makefile order. However, this prevents RAS records
coming in between the evged driver initialization and the HED driver
initialization from being handled.
If the number of such RAS records is above the APEI HEST error source
number, the HEST resources may be exhausted, and that may affect
subsequent RAS error reporting.
To fix this issue, change the initcall level of HED to subsys_initcall
and prevent the driver from being built as a module by changing ACPI_HED
in Kconfig from "tristate" to "bool".

Drivers usually call this method on error/exit paths and do not check
for it's return value, which is always 0 anyway, so make it void.
This is safe to do as currently all drivers use
devm_platform_profile_register().
While at it, improve the style and make the function safer by checking
for IS_ERR_OR_NULL before dereferencing the device pointer.

When an attribute group is created with sysfs_create_group(), the
->sysfs_ops() callback is set to kobj_sysfs_ops, which sets the ->show()
and ->store() callbacks to kobj_attr_show() and kobj_attr_store()
respectively. These functions use container_of() to get the respective
callback from the passed attribute, meaning that these callbacks need to
be of the same type as the callbacks in 'struct kobj_attribute'.
However, ->show() and ->store() in the platform_profile driver are
defined for struct device_attribute with the help of DEVICE_ATTR_RO()
and DEVICE_ATTR_RW(), which results in a CFI violation when accessing
platform_profile or platform_profile_choices under /sys/firmware/acpi
because the types do not match:
CFI failure at kobj_attr_show+0x19/0x30 (target: platform_profile_choices_show+0x0/0x140; expected type: 0x7a69590c)
There is no functional issue from the type mismatch because the layout
of 'struct kobj_attribute' and 'struct device_attribute' are the same,
so the container_of() cast does not break anything aside from CFI.
Change the type of platform_profile_choices_show() and
platform_profile_{show,store}() to match the callbacks in
'struct kobj_attribute' and update the attribute variables to
match, which resolves the CFI violation.

Perhaps unsurprisingly there are some platforms where the GTDT isn't
quite right and the Platforms Timer array overflows the length of the
overall table.
While the recently-added sanity checking isn't wrong, it makes it
impossible to boot the kernel on offending platforms. Try to hobble
along and limit the Platform Timer count to the bounds of the table.

Add support in GHES to detect and process CXL CPER Protocol errors, as
defined in UEFI v2.10, section N.2.13.
Define struct cxl_cper_prot_err_work_data to cache CXL protocol error
information, including RAS capabilities and severity, for further
handling.
These cached CXL CPER records will later be processed by workqueues
within the CXL subsystem.

Commit 088984c8d54c ("ACPI: PRM: Find EFI_MEMORY_RUNTIME block for PRM
handler and context") added unnecessary strict handler address checks,
causing the PRM module to fail in translating memory error addresses.
Both static data buffer address and ACPI parameter buffer address may
be NULL if they are not needed, as described in section 4.1.2 PRM Handler
Information Structure of Platform Runtime Mechanism specification [1].

The Eluktronics MECH-17 (GM7RG7N) needs IRQ overriding for the
keyboard to work.
Adding a DMI_MATCH entry for this laptop model makes the internal
keyboard function normally.

While analysing code for software and OF node for the corner case when
caller asks to read zero items in the supposed to be an array of values
I found that ACPI behaves differently to what OF does, i.e.
1. It returns -EINVAL when caller asks to read zero items from integer
array, while OF returns 0, if no other errors happened.
2. It returns -EINVAL when caller asks to read zero items from string
array, while OF returns -ENODATA, if no other errors happened.
Amend ACPI implementation to follow what OF does.

Recent Intel platforms will depend on the idle driver to pass the
correct hint for playing dead via mwait_play_dead_with_hint(). Expand
the existing enter_dead interface with handling for FFH states and pass
the MWAIT hint to the mwait_play_dead code.

Handle more gracefully cases where no SRAT information is available, like

The enable_gpe_wakeup() function calls acpi_enable_all_wakeup_gpes(),
and the later one may call the preempt_schedule_common() function,

The root cause is acpi_enable_all_wakeup_gpes() uses a mutex to protect
acpi_hw_enable_all_wakeup_gpes(), and acpi_ut_acquire_mutex() may cause
a thread switch. Since there is no longer concurrent execution during
loongarch_acpi_suspend(), we can call acpi_hw_enable_all_wakeup_gpes()
directly in enable_gpe_wakeup().
The solution is similar to commit 22db06337f590d01 ("ACPI: sleep: Avoid
breaking S3 wakeup due to might_sleep()").

Current fake-numa implementation prevents new Numa nodes to be later
hot-plugged by drivers. A common symptom of this limitation is the "node
<X> was absent from the node_possible_map" message by associated warning
in mm/memory_hotplug.c: add_memory_resource().
This comes from the lack of remapping in both pxm_to_node_map[] and
node_to_pxm_map[] tables to take fake-numa nodes into account and thus
triggers collisions with original and physical nodes only-mapping that had
been determined from BIOS tables.
This patch fixes this by doing the necessary node-ids translation in both
pxm_to_node_map[]/node_to_pxm_map[] tables. node_distance[] table has
also been fixed accordingly.
Details:
When trying to use fake-numa feature on our system where new Numa nodes
are being "hot-plugged" upon driver load, this fails with the following
type of message and warning with stack :

This issue prevents the use of the fake-NUMA debug feature with the
system's full configuration, when it has proven to be sometimes extremely
useful for performance testing of multi-tasked, memory-bound applications,
as it enables better isolation of processes/ranks compared to fat NUMA
nodes.

The Vexia EDU ATLA 10 tablet comes in 2 different versions with
significantly different mainboards. The only outward difference is that
the charging barrel on one is marked 5V and the other is marked 9V.
Both ship with Android 4.4 as factory OS and have the usual broken DSDT
issues for x86 Android tablets.
Add a quirk to skip ACPI I2C client enumeration for the 5V version to
complement the existing quirk for the 9V version.

This was quite a quiet release for what I imagine are holiday related
reasons, the diffstat is dominated by some Cirrus Logic Kunit tests.
