2020-05-05crypto: xilinx: Handle AES PM API return statusRajan Vaja
Return value of AES PM API is not handled which may result in unexpected value of "status" in zynqmp_pm_aes_engine(). Consider "status" value as valid only if AES PM API is successful. 2020-05-04firmware: xilinx: Export zynqmp_pm_fpga_{get_status,load}Nathan Chancellor
When building arm64 allmodconfig: ERROR: modpost: "zynqmp_pm_fpga_load" [drivers/fpga/zynqmp-fpga.ko] undefined! ERROR: modpost: "zynqmp_pm_fpga_get_status" [drivers/fpga/zynqmp-fpga.ko] undefined! These functions were added to drivers/fpga/zynqmp-fpga.c but not exported so the module build breaks. Export them so that they can be used in modules properly. 2020-04-28fpga: dfl: fme: add performance reporting supportWu Hao
This patch adds support for performance reporting private feature for FPGA Management Engine (FME). Now it supports several different performance counters, including 'basic', 'cache', 'fabric', 'vtd' and 'vtd_sip'. It allows user to use standard linux tools to access these performance counters. e.g. List all events by "perf list" perf list | grep fme dfl_fme0/cache_read_hit/ [Kernel PMU event] dfl_fme0/cache_read_miss/ [Kernel PMU event] ... dfl_fme0/fab_mmio_read/ [Kernel PMU event] dfl_fme0/fab_mmio_write/ [Kernel PMU event] ... dfl_fme0/fab_port_mmio_read,portid=?/ [Kernel PMU event] dfl_fme0/fab_port_mmio_write,portid=?/ [Kernel PMU event] ... dfl_fme0/vtd_port_devtlb_1g_fill,portid=?/ [Kernel PMU event] dfl_fme0/vtd_port_devtlb_2m_fill,portid=?/ [Kernel PMU event] ... dfl_fme0/vtd_sip_iotlb_1g_hit/ [Kernel PMU event] dfl_fme0/vtd_sip_iotlb_1g_miss/ [Kernel PMU event] ... dfl_fme0/clock [Kernel PMU event] ... e.g. check increased counter value after run one application using "perf stat" command. perf stat -e dfl_fme0/fab_mmio_read/,dfl_fme0/fab_mmio_write/ ./test Performance counter stats for './test': 1 dfl_fme0/fab_mmio_read/ 2 dfl_fme0/fab_mmio_write/ 1.009496520 seconds time elapsed Please note that fabric counters support both fab_* and fab_port_*, but actually they are sharing one set of performance counters in hardware. If user wants to monitor overall data events on fab_* then fab_port_* can't be supported at the same time, see example below: perf stat -e dfl_fme0/fab_mmio_read/,dfl_fme0/fab_port_mmio_write,portid=0/ Performance counter stats for 'system wide': 0 dfl_fme0/fab_mmio_read/ <not supported> dfl_fme0/fab_port_mmio_write,portid=0/ 2.141064085 seconds time elapsed Signed-off-by: Luwei Kang <luwei.kang@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Xu Yilun <yilun.xu@intel.com> Signed-off-by: Wu Hao <hao.wu@intel.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/1587949583-12058-3-git-send-email-hao.wu@intel.com Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>

2020-04-28firmware: xilinx: Add sysfs and API to set boot health statusRajan Vaja
Add sysfs interface to set boot health status from user space. Add API used by this interface to communicate with firmware. If PMUFW is compiled with CHECK_HEALTHY_BOOT, it will check the healthy bit on FPD WDT expiration. If healthy bit is set by a user application running in Linux, PMUFW will do APU only restart. If healthy bit is not set during FPD WDT expiration, PMUFW will do system restart. 2020-04-28firmware: xilinx: Add sysfs to set shutdown scopeRajan Vaja
The Linux shutdown functionality implemented via PSCI system_off does not include an option to set a scope, i.e. which parts of the system to shut down. This patch creates sysfs that allows to set the shutdown scope for the next shutdown request. When the next shutdown is performed, the platform specific portion of PSCI-system_off can use the chosen shutdown scope. git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/gregkh/driver-core Pull driver core fixes from Greg KH: "Here are some small firmware/driver core/debugfs fixes for 5.7-rc3. The debugfs change is now possible as now the last users of debugfs_create_u32() have been fixed up in the different trees that got merged into 5.7-rc1, and I don't want it creeping back in. The firmware changes did cause a regression in linux-next, so the final patch here reverts part of that, re-exporting the symbol to resolve that issue. 2020-04-26firmware_loader: revert removal of the fw_fallback_config exportLuis Chamberlain
Christoph's patch removed two unsused exported symbols, however, one symbol is used by the firmware_loader itself. If CONFIG_FW_LOADER=m so the firmware_loader is modular but CONFIG_FW_LOADER_USER_HELPER=y we fail the build at mostpost. ERROR: modpost: "fw_fallback_config" [drivers/base/firmware_loader/firmware_class.ko] undefined! This happens because the variable fw_fallback_config is built into the kernel if CONFIG_FW_LOADER_USER_HELPER=y always, so we need to grant access to the firmware loader module by exporting it. Revert only one hunk from his patch.
