If the kernel build process is creating files automatically, the least
it can do is create them in a properly formatted manner. Sure, it's a

This adds handle->fd and fd->handle support to i915, this is to allow
for offloading of rendering in one direction and outputs in the other.
v2 from Daniel Vetter:
- fixup conflicts with the prepare/finish gtt prep work.
- implement ppgtt binding support.
Note that we have squat i-g-t testcoverage for any of the lifetime and
access rules dma_buf/prime support brings along. And there are quite a
few intricate situations here.
Also note that the integration with the existing code is a bit
hackish, especially around get_gtt_pages and put_gtt_pages. It imo
would be easier with the prep code from Chris Wilson's unbound series,
but that is for 3.6.
Also note that I didn't bother to put the new prepare/finish gtt hooks
to good use by moving the dma_buf_map/unmap_attachment calls in there
(like we've originally planned for).
Last but not least this patch is only compile-tested, but I've changed
very little compared to Dave Airlie's version. So there's a decent
chance v2 on drm-next works as well as v1 on 3.4-rc.
v3: Right when I've hit sent I've noticed that I've screwed up one
obj->sg_list (for dmar support) and obj->sg_table (for prime support)
disdinction. We should be able to merge these 2 paths, but that's
material for another patch.

v5: fix another error, and stop non-gtt mmaps on shared objects

This adds the ability for ttm common code to take an SG table
and use it as the backing for a slave TTM object.
The drivers can then populate their GTT tables using the SG object.

If userspace attempts to import a buffer it exported on the same device,
we need to return the same GEM handle for it, not a new handle pointing
at the same GEM object.

Ensure that we can't get randconfig breakage by doing the IRQ_DOMAIN
select automatically. Don't just do the select from REGMAP_IRQ to ensure
that the select actually gets noticed.

Linus removed the end-of-address-space hackery from
fs/namei.c:do_getname() so we really have to validate these edge
conditions and cannot cheat any more (as x86 used to as well).
Move to a common C implementation like x86 did. And if both
src and dst are sufficiently aligned we'll do word at a time
copies and checks as well.

The above commits introduced changes into the x86 pagefault handler
for making the page fault handler retryable as well as killable.
These changes reduce the mmap_sem hold time, which is crucial
during OOM killer invocation.
Port these changes to hexagon.

does not need to include version.h .
A quick look at the file seems to confirm its findings, so here's a patch that

Jiri reworking some tty core things to behave better and to get a more
solid grasp on some of the nasty tty locking issues.
There are a few tty and serial driver updates in here as well.
All of this has been in the linux-next releases for a while with no
problems.

"Here's the driver core, and other driver subsystems, pull request for
the 3.5-rc1 merge window.
Outside of a few minor driver core changes, we ended up with the
following different subsystem and core changes as well, due to
interdependancies on the driver core:
- hyperv driver updates
- drivers/memory being created and some drivers moved into it
- extcon driver subsystem created out of the old Android staging
switch driver code
- dynamic debug updates
- printk rework, and /dev/kmsg changes
All of this has been tested in the linux-next releases for a few weeks
with no reported problems.

"Here is the big USB 3.5-rc1 pull request for the 3.5-rc1 merge window.
It's touches a lot of different parts of the kernel, all USB drivers,
due to some API cleanups (getting rid of the ancient err() macro) and
some changes that are needed for USB 3.0 power management updates.
There are also lots of new drivers, pimarily gadget, but others as
well. We deleted a staging driver, which was nice, and finally
dropped the obsolete usbfs code, which will make Al happy to never
have to touch that again.
There were some build errors in the tree that linux-next found a few
days ago, but those were fixed by the most recent changes (all were
due to us not building with CONFIG_PM disabled.)

Recent removal of Token Ring breaks the build of iproute2.
Even though Token Ring support is gone from the kernel, it is worth
keeping the the definition of the TR ARP type to avoid breaking
userspace programs that use this file.

Netfront driver can be also useful in dom0, eg when all NICs are assigned to
some domU (aka driver domain). Then using netback in domU and netfront in dom0
is the only way to get network access in dom0.

Pull arm-soc board specific changes from Olof Johansson:
"While we generally attempt to get rid of board specific files and
replace them with device tree based descriptions, a lot of platforms
have not come that far:
In shmobile, we add two new board files because their recently started
effort to add DT support has not proceeded enough to use it for all of
the important hardware.
In Kirkwood, we are adding support for new boards with a combination
of DT and board file contents in multiple cases.
pxa/mmp and imx are extending support for existing board files but not
adding new ones."

This is (obviously) the last non-fix pull request for wireless bits
intended for 3.5. It includes AP support for mwifiex, a variety of HCI
and other updates for NFC, some brcmfmac and brcmsmac refactoring,
a large batch of ssb and bcma updates, a batch of ath6kl updates,
some cfg80211 and mac80211 updates/refactoring from Johannes Berg,
a rather large collection of Bluetooth updates by way of Gustavo,
and a variety of other bits here and there.

A user has several systems with a couple of models of flash disks with IDE
connectors. These disks work fine in 2.6.18-ish kernels but corrupt data on
new kernels.
The difference appears to be with the default I/O method used by the IDE
controller driver between the kernels. In the older kernels, the
configuration is very conservative and the driver stays in PIO mode. With
new kernels, the ata driver (pata_serverworks) attempts to use UDMA/66
which the drive claims to support. This mode, however, does not appear to
work in DMA mode. The drive does work correctly and no corruption is
seen if the kernel parameter "libata.force=5:pio0,6:pio0" is used to force
the driver to use PIO instead of DMA mode.
Blacklist these drives. Unfortunately the model name of the drive is very
generic, " 2GB ATA Flash Disk", but the revision is specific, "ADMA428M".

FCB(Frame Control Block) isn't the part of netdev hard header.
Add FCB to hard_header_len will make GRO fail at MAC comparision stage.
