2025-02-10ABI: sysfs-class-rfkill: fix kernelversion tagsMauro Carvalho Chehab
Some kernelversion tags are missing colons. Add them to comply with ABI description and produce right results when converted to html/pdf. 2020-10-30docs: ABI: stable: make files ReST compatibleMauro Carvalho Chehab
Several entries at the stable ABI files won't parse if we pass them directly to the ReST output. Adjust them, in order to allow adding their contents as-is at the stable ABI book. 2018-06-15rfkill: Correctly document rkill subfolder range as >= 0 in sysfs-class-rfkillPeter Meerwald
The first subfolder is rfkill0, hence rfkillX (X >= 0). Also fix two trivial typos. Signed-off-by: Peter Meerwald-Stadler <pmeerw@pmeerw.net> Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes@sipsolutions.net>
2016-02-24rfkill: Move "state" sysfs file back to stableJoão Paulo Rechi Vita
There is still quite a bit of code using this interface, so we can't just remove it. Hopefully it will be possible in the future, but since its scheduled removal date is past 2 years already, we are better having the documentation reflecting the current state of things. 2016-02-24rfkill: Point to the correct deprecated doc locationJoão Paulo Rechi Vita
The "claim" sysfs interface has been removed, so its documentation now lives in the "removed" folder. Signed-off-by: João Paulo Rechi Vita <jprvita@endlessm.com> Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com>
2010-03-19rename new rfkill sysfs knobsflorian@mickler.org
This patch renames the (never officially released) sysfs-knobs "blocked_hw" and "blocked_sw" to "hard" and "soft", as the hardware vs software conotation is misleading. It also gets rid of not needed locks around u32-read-access. Signed-off-by: Florian Mickler <florian@mickler.org> Signed-off-by: John W. Linville <linville@tuxdriver.com>

2010-03-10Document the rfkill sysfs ABIflorian@mickler.org
This moves sysfs ABI info from Documentation/rfkill.txt to the ABI subfolder and reformats it. This also schedules the deprecated sysfs parts to be removed in 2012 (claim file) and 2014 (state file).
