2024-12-02platform/x86: quickstart: don't include 'pm_wakeup.h' directlyWolfram Sang
The header clearly states that it does not want to be included directly, only via 'device.h'. 'platform_device.h' works equally well. Remove the direct inclusion. 2024-10-02move asm/unaligned.h to linux/unaligned.hAl Viro
asm/unaligned.h is always an include of asm-generic/unaligned.h; might as well move that thing to linux/unaligned.h and include that - there's nothing arch-specific in that header. auto-generated by the following: for i in `git grep -l -w asm/unaligned.h`; do sed -i -e "s/asm\/unaligned.h/linux\/unaligned.h/" $i done for i in `git grep -l -w asm-generic/unaligned.h`; do sed -i -e "s/asm-generic\/unaligned.h/linux\/unaligned.h/" $i done git mv include/asm-generic/unaligned.h include/linux/unaligned.h git mv tools/include/asm-generic/unaligned.h tools/include/linux/unaligned.h sed -i -e "/unaligned.h/d" include/asm-generic/Kbuild sed -i -e "s/__ASM_GENERIC/__LINUX/" include/linux/unaligned.h tools/include/linux/unaligned.h
2024-04-08platform/x86: quickstart: Fix race condition when reporting input eventArmin Wolf
Since commit e2ffcda16290 ("ACPI: OSL: Allow Notify () handlers to run on all CPUs"), the ACPI core allows multiple notify calls to be active at the same time. This means that two instances of quickstart_notify() running at the same time can mess which each others input sequences. Fix this by protecting the input sequence with a mutex. Compile-tested only. 2024-04-08platform/x86: quickstart: Miscellaneous improvementsAndy Shevchenko
There is a mix of a few improvements to the driver. I have done this instead of review, so it can quickly be folded into the original code (partially or fully). 2024-04-08platform/x86: Add ACPI quickstart button (PNP0C32) driverArmin Wolf
This drivers supports the ACPI quickstart button device, which is used to send manufacturer-specific events to userspace. Since the meaning of those events is not standardized, userspace has to use for example hwdb to decode them. The driver itself is based on an earlier proposal, but contains some improvements and uses the device wakeup API instead of a custom sysfs file.
